We are a Family business, originated from Haifa, Israel, and continued for over forty years.  This family tradition started from the Master Chef Yehoshua Bachar, who  started selling  bourekas. The recipe came from his family in Turkey. When he emigrated to Israel he brought this recipe with him.  He opened a Brick Oven Bakery in Haifa, forty years ago. He started selling these items in the business locations in Downtown Haifa. When he started selling these items, he used a pushcart to peddle them. Afterwards, he became a family business in Northern Israel, and spread his tradition to his children, and grandchildren, until today. Now the great taste and tradition of Bourekas Bacher is here in Queens, New York.  Enjoy!!!
